The kitchen knives from the Kitchen Classics collection by Cold Steel® can handle almost any type of cutting task in no time.
The knives in this series feature powerful blades made of German 4116 stainless steel that have been ice-hardened, cryogenically treated and then precision ground flat for maximum cutting power. All models in this collection have a razor-sharp, extremely durable cutting edge, and some of the blades have a serrated edge that has been specifically adapted to the intended tasks of the respective knives.
From 2016, the handles of the Kitchen Classics have a new design and ensure an even safer, yet comfortable grip. They consist of a stable, durable core made of Zy-Ex™, covered by a softer, food-safe outer layer made of Kray-Ex™ that you simply have to feel to understand the true meaning of non-slip! The newly designed, optimized knives in the Kitchen Classics series are even more comfortable, more practical and even more secure in the hand. They are simply better than ever!
Stainless knife steel 4116
4116 steel is a fine-grained, stainless steel from Germany. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures both first-class rust protection and great strength. Very fine, extremely sharp edges can be sharpened. An excellent choice for outdoor and hunting knives. Cold Steels® 4116 stainless steel is cryo-treated. This low-temperature treatment ensures significantly better strength, hardness and durability and achieves a higher edge retention.
