For this set, the chef's knife from the Yaxell ZEN series comes with a knife sharpener that is specifically designed for knives with a core layer of VG 10 steel. The grinding wheels made of aluminum oxide, which correspond to grain size 400, are housed in a plastic case with anti-slip inserts and must be soaked in water before the grinding process.

For the Damascus blade of the chef's knife, 18 layers of stainless carbon steel were forged onto a core layer of stainless SG 10 steel on both sides, creating a noble Damascus pattern. The part of the blade that runs to the back of the blade has a brightly polished hammer finish that stands out clearly from the matte lines of the Damascus pattern towards the cutting edge. Black linen micarta with a wood look is used for the elegant handle.
