The iconic PUMA "Extension Knife" has achieved legendary status over many years and is now available again. For more than two and a half centuries, we have been passionately dedicated to producing high-quality hunting knives. Numerous PUMA models have now achieved cult status and are highly valued not only by hunters but also by collectors. One of these special models is our "Extension Knife", which was already produced in the 1930s to 1950s. Now we have decided to bring this historic model, also known as the "Saustecher", back onto the market.

The new PUMA extension knife has a fold-out blade with a length of 19 cm, made of 440C stainless steel with a hardness of 57-58 HRC. When folded, the blade extends well beyond the end of the handle, which also makes it suitable for finer work. The movable guard element ("Swing Guard") lies flat on the handle and swings in front of the handle when the blade is folded out to reliably protect the hand holding it - for example when catching game. In addition, the "extension knife" is equipped with a foldable lever that serves both as a safety device and to unlock the blade with a retro lettering. Exquisite stag horn scales and a tailor-made leather belt sheath round off this elegant and high-quality product from Solingen.

Compliant with § 42a WaffG: The original PUMA "extension knife" is a two-handed utility knife that locks when opened and closed. It can therefore be owned without a permit and may be carried in public without a special permit, both unfolded and closed.
