Hardwood from the heart of the palm, fire hardened

Bahi wood is a type of hardwood from the Philippines that has been fire-hardened to add to its natural strength. The wood is interwoven with criss-crossing fibers that significantly increase stability.

Sticks of this type are relatively heavy and very hard. The characteristic feature is the light brown-black speckled grain due to the fibers of the wood.
