Hand wraps & hand protection for boxing, MMA and martial arts

Hand wraps and hand protection are part of the basic equipment for any training where fists are used. They support the wrist, cushion the fist and are usually worn under boxing gloves or MMA gloves. This maintains the feel of the punch and relieves the hands and joints during long training sessions.

What variants are there?

• Classic boxing hand wraps: flexible fabric wraps in various lengths that are individually wrapped around the wrist and fist.
• Inner gloves and quick wraps: quick, slip-on alternatives for when you need to get moving quickly in training.
• Padded hand wraps and hand protection: models with integrated padding over the knuckles for additional cushioning.

What should you look for when choosing?

• Length and wrapping technique: longer wraps offer more options for specifically supporting the wrist and thumb.
• Padding: more padding over the knuckles can feel more comfortable during intensive heavy bag and pad work.
• Material and care: breathable, washable fabrics make regular training easier.
• Intended use: whether it's technique training, heavy bag, pad work or sparring, different models are suitable depending on the level of intensity.
