Constructed from high-impact polypropylene, the Blackthorn range of poles is designed for strength and durability. Unlike real wooden poles, they won't crack, warp, swell or splinter. They are modelled on genuine blackthorn , but have been skilfully modified to look like they were taken from nature, and surpass anything Mother Nature could ever produce! If nature provided absolutely perfect blackthorn poles, and you were lucky enough to own some, this is what they would look like.

Inspired by an oversized staff from the private collection of Cold Steel® President Lynn C. Thompson, the newest member of the Blackthorn family is the largest staff Cold Steel® has ever produced! The Blackthorn staff (total length approx. 1.5 m) is the result of years of costly research and development in the field of injection molding technology and the production of high-impact polymers. With its rustic wood structure, protruding 'clipped thorns' and polished wood-look pommel, this oversized walking stick will enrich any collection and is sure to be a conversation starter.
