• Additional weights at the ends make the rotations more comfortable and allow the stick to lie more controlled in the hand.
  The weights are fitted and wedged into a sleeve at the ends. This sleeve also has the advantage that the ends cannot splinter during training or demonstrations with quick or powerful blows on hard surfaces.
• Origin: Sucupira preto comes from the Precious Woods forests in the Amazon region of Brazil. These trees have a trunk diameter of 40 to 60 cm, but there are also specimens with a diameter of over a meter. The trunk is straight and cylindrical and extends to a length of 12 to 18 meters. The sapwood is only a few centimeters wide.
