The RDX X3 6-inch weightlifting belt was developed for strength athletes who value a wide support surface, cushioned comfort, and an individually adjustable fit during heavy compound exercises. Its contoured design can support conscious core bracing during strength training.

The combination of durable polyester fabric, compressed EVA-LUTION™ padding, SpongeX padding, and a soft Blacktop inner lining ensures cushioned contact with the body. A nylon strap with a tension buckle and an additional hook-and-loop fastener allows for adjustment to your waist circumference.

Benefits of the RDX X3 Weightlifting Belt

  • Wide support surface: The approximately 6-inch wide design covers a large area of the lower torso.
  • EVA-LUTION™ padding: Compressed EVA material supports even pressure distribution.
  • SpongeX padding: Supplementary padding layer for more comfortable contact with the body.
  • Blacktop inner lining: Soft inner material for cushioned comfort.
  • Durable polyester fabric: Designed for regular strength and fitness training.
  • Robust nylon strap: Allows for individual adjustment of the belt.
  • Tension buckle with roller: Supports controlled tightening and loosening.
  • Additional hook-and-loop fastener: Can reduce unintentional opening during intended use.
  • Contoured design: Geared towards mobility and support during strength training.

Broad support for the core

The wide design of the RDX X3 weightlifting belt offers a large contact surface in the lower torso area. When used correctly, the belt can provide the athlete with a firm surface to push against while bracing the abdominal and core muscles.

The weightlifting belt does not stabilize the body on its own. Its supportive effect requires learned breathing and bracing techniques. It does not replace controlled exercise execution nor the gradual build-up of appropriate training weights.

EVA-LUTION™ and SpongeX padding

The compressed EVA-LUTION™ padding is designed for shape retention and pressure distribution. An additional SpongeX layer cushions the contact between the belt and the body.

The padding can reduce pressure points and improve comfort. However, pressure points or skin irritation cannot be completely ruled out. The correct size, individual body shape, and appropriate adjustment of the buckle are decisive.

Durable material construction

According to the manufacturer, the outer material consists of resistant polyester fabric. The cushioned, neoprene-based construction combines flexibility with a wide contact surface. Soft Blacktop fabric is used on the inside.

The weightlifting belt is not offered as a genuine leather belt. Its flexible construction differs from rigid competition or powerlifting belts made of leather.

Nylon strap with tension buckle and hook-and-loop fastener

The robust nylon strap is fed through a tension buckle with a roller. This allows the belt to be adjusted individually to your waist circumference and the desired tension. The hook-and-loop fastener serves as an additional safety mechanism.

The fastener must be completely closed and checked for a firm fit before every training set. Even a correctly closed belt offers no guarantee against unintentional loosening, material failure, or injury.

Suitable for various strength exercises

  • Squats and variations
  • Deadlifts and variations
  • Weightlifting
  • Heavy barbell training
  • Bodybuilding
  • General strength training
  • Selected exercises in functional training

Whether using it for a specific exercise makes sense depends on your training level, movement execution, training weight, and personal physical requirements. The belt should be used purposefully and not as a substitute for insecure technique or inappropriately high weights.

Fit and correct application

The belt is positioned around the waist in such a way that it does not hinder movement and does not press on the ribs or hip bones. It should fit firmly without causing pain, numbness, dizziness, or undue restriction of breathing.

During the exercise, the core muscles are consciously braced and engaged against the belt. The buckle can be loosened between heavy training sets. The belt should not be worn constantly or unnecessarily tight during the entire training session.

Selecting the right size

Measure your waist circumference approximately at the level of the navel and compare the result with the size chart currently provided for the item. Do not measure based solely on your normal trouser size, as this may differ from your actual waist circumference.

The belt should offer enough adjustment range to close it securely and loosen it if necessary. If your measurement falls between two sizes, body shape, desired fit, and manufacturer specifications should be taken into account.

Care instructions

  • Open completely after every workout and allow to dry in a well-ventilated area.
  • Remove sweat and light dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Observe the instructions on the care label before cleaning.
  • Do not clean in a washing machine or tumble dryer.
  • Do not soak in water.
  • Do not dry on radiators or in strong direct sunlight.
  • Do not use bleach, solvents, or aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Keep the hook-and-loop fastener free of lint and dirt.
  • Only store the belt once all materials are completely dry.

Important safety and usage notice

A weightlifting belt can support conscious core bracing during suitable strength exercises, but it does not prevent back complaints, overexertion, or other injuries. It does not replace correct technique, appropriate weight selection, sufficient preparation, or qualified training guidance.

The RDX X3 is not a medical device and is not intended for the treatment or prevention of illnesses. In the case of existing back, abdominal, circulatory, or other health complaints, its use should be cleared by a doctor or physiotherapist beforehand.

Stop use immediately if you experience pain, numbness, breathing difficulties, dizziness, or an unusual feeling of pressure. Before each use, seams, material, nylon straps, the tension buckle, and the hook-and-loop area must be checked. A damaged, heavily worn, or no longer reliably closing belt must not be used further.

Normal training-related wear and tear as well as damage caused by incorrect sizing, improper use, unsuitable care, or excessive load do not automatically constitute a material defect. Legal rights regarding defects for actually faulty goods remain unaffected.

Frequently asked questions about the RDX X3 weightlifting belt

Which exercises is the RDX X3 weightlifting belt suitable for?

The belt can be used for squats, deadlifts, weightlifting, and selected heavy barbell exercises, among others. Whether its use is sensible depends on the exercise, training level, and correct technique.

Does the belt protect against back injuries?

No. The belt can support conscious core bracing, but it offers no guaranteed protection against back complaints, overexertion, or other injuries. Technique, training weight, and physical conditions remain decisive.

How wide is the weightlifting belt?

The model is referred to as a 6-inch weightlifting belt on the German RDX product page. The wide construction offers a large contact surface in the lower torso area.

What material is the belt made of?

According to the manufacturer, the belt features a polyester outer material, a flexible neoprene-based construction, EVA-LUTION™ and SpongeX padding, as well as a soft Blacktop inner lining. It is not a genuine leather belt.

How do I find the right size?

Measure your waist circumference approximately at the level of the navel and compare the result with the RDX size chart provided for the item. Your normal trouser size is not always suitable for this.

How firmly should the belt fit?

The belt should fit firmly enough to support controlled core bracing. However, it must not cause pain, numbness, breathing difficulties, dizziness, or an inappropriate feeling of pressure.

Should the belt be worn during the entire workout?

The belt should be used purposefully for suitable training sets. It can be loosened between heavy sets. Constant, unnecessarily tight wearing during the entire training session is not recommended.

Is the RDX X3 a medical support belt?

No. The RDX X3 is a sports and training product and not a medical device. It is not intended for the treatment of back pain or other health complaints.

How is the weightlifting belt cleaned?

Light dirt can be removed with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The belt should subsequently be left to air-dry while completely open. Washing machines, tumble dryers, direct heat, and aggressive cleaning agents should be avoided.

Who is my point of contact for direct partner delivery?
