-
Natural material: Grain & color vary – every piece is unique
This red oak Bo staff (Rokushakubō, ~182 cm) blends traditional length with tapered ends for speed, balance and control. The center diameter of ~25 mm gradually narrows to ~20 mm at the tips, enabling snappier rotations, clean directional changes, and a lively feel in kata and controlled partner practice (subject to dojo rules).
Red oak offers a robust hardwood density and a secure, smooth grip. As a natural material, expect minor variations in grain, color and dimensions that make each staff truly one-of-a-kind.
