Care of the Damascus Blade

After use, the blade should be cleaned and thoroughly dried. Moisture, aggressive contaminants, or prolonged storage in a damp environment should be avoided. If necessary, the blade can be lightly treated with a maintenance oil suitable for knife blades. Before cleaning or maintenance, the knife should be placed securely, and special caution should be exercised around the cutting edge.
