The NEX N23A Quick Air tactical baton must be used exclusively according to the operating instructions and not for illegal purposes or misuse. NEX-BATON batons are classified as weapons in the Federal Republic of Germany according to §1 Paragraph 2 No. 2 Letter a WaffG (portable object) and are subject to the carrying prohibition pursuant to §42a Paragraph 1 No. 2 WaffG in conjunction with Annex 1 Section 1 Subsection 2 No. 1.1 (blunt and impact weapon). Carrying at events is also prohibited under §42 Paragraph 1 WaffG. The telescopic baton must be transported in a closed container and secured against unauthorized access.
