RDX F6 KARA Boxing Mitts - Curved Focus Pads

The RDX F6 KARA boxing mitts were developed for controlled punch, reaction, and combination training in boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. Their curved striking surface supports the targeted absorption of straight punches, hooks, and various punch combinations.

Polygonal Fusion Foam, additional SpongeX padding, and the anti-shock foam construction are designed to absorb incoming impact energy and distribute it across the mitt surface. The ergonomic hand compartment with EZ-Grip technology, Palm Dome Ball, and padded wedge supports the mitt holder in maintaining a controlled and stable grip.

Polygonal Fusion Foam for Force Distribution

The core of the RDX F6 KARA focus mitts consists of Polygonal Fusion Foam. The molded foam construction is intended to absorb incoming impact energy and distribute it over a larger area of the mitt.

This can reduce the immediate stress on the mitt holder's hands and wrists. How effective the damping is depends, among other things, on punch strength, impact angle, training technique, condition of the mitts, and correct hand position.

SpongeX Padding and Anti-Shock Construction

Additional SpongeX padding complements the molded mitt core. It is designed to provide additional resistance and damping under higher loads.

The anti-shock foam construction supports the absorption of repeated impacts. It can reduce shocks and stress peaks but cannot completely prevent hand fatigue or injuries.

Curved Shape for Precise Mitt Training

The pre-formed, curved striking surface facilitates offering a controlled target. It can support the mitt holder in absorbing straight punches, hooks, uppercuts, and combinations from different angles.

The mitts must always be held so that impacts land centrally on the intended striking surface. Lateral, backward, or uncontrolled impacts can excessively stress the material, hands, and wrists.

EZ-Grip with Palm Dome Ball

The interior features EZ-Grip technology, a Palm Dome Ball or Grip Ball, and a padded hand wedge. These elements support a close-fitting hand position and are intended to reduce slipping inside the mitt.

A firm grip supports control when absorbing punches. However, the grip system does not automatically increase one's own strength and does not guarantee a faultless wrist position or protection against overexertion.

Quick-EZ™ Hook-and-Loop Closure at the Wrist

The adjustable Quick-EZ™ hook-and-loop closure allows for individual adjustment in the wrist area. It is intended to help position the mitt close to the body and reduce unwanted movements during training.

The closure must not be tightened so much that it causes pressure pain, numbness, or impaired circulation. A correct wrist position must also be ensured by posture, technique, and appropriate training intensity.

Ventilation in the Hand Area

Strategically placed openings support air circulation inside the focus mitts. This allows heat and moisture generated during training to dissipate more effectively.

The ventilation openings do not completely prevent sweat, odors, or bacterial growth. The mitts must be opened, cleaned, and thoroughly air-dried after each use.

Care Instructions

• Wipe outer surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each training session.
• Promptly remove sweat and dirt from the hand area.
• Open hook-and-loop closures after training and allow mitts to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not store damp in a closed gym bag.
• Do not immerse in water and do not machine wash.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, bleach, or solvents.
• Do not dry on radiators or in strong direct sunlight.
• Allow to dry completely before next use.

Important Safety and Usage Notice

Boxing mitts can absorb impact energy, but they cannot completely prevent injuries to hands, fingers, wrists, or arms. They may only be used for controlled technique and mitt training.

The striker must wear appropriate boxing gloves or hand protectors suitable for the training type. Mitt holders and training partners must coordinate punch strength, target position, and combinations before starting the exercise.

Impacts must land exclusively on the designated front of the mitts. The mitt holder's face, head, and body must be kept out of the line of fire. Children and beginners should only train under expert supervision.

Before each use, the outer material, seams, padding, grip area, and hook-and-loop closures must be checked. Torn, heavily deformed, hardened, or no longer securely fitting boxing mitts must not be used further.

Normal training-related wear and tear and gradual compression of the padding are possible with regularly used mitts and do not automatically constitute a material defect. A separate durability guarantee is not assumed. Statutory warranty rights for actually defective goods remain unaffected.
