The RDX T2 CE Karate chest protector combines multi-layer padding with an adjustable, reversible design for karate, taekwondo, and controlled martial arts training. The padded body protector is designed to absorb impact from punches and kicks while maintaining the best possible freedom of movement.

Max-Shock Equilibrium Foam™ and additional SpongeX padding create a multi-layered cushioning zone in the upper body area. Elastic shoulder straps and a Quick-EZ™ hook-and-loop closure allow for individual adjustment to the wearer.

Multi-layer padding for controlled contact training

Inside the RDX T2 chest protector, Max-Shock Equilibrium Foam™ is combined with additional SpongeX padding. The padding layers are designed to absorb, cushion, and distribute the impact force over a larger area upon impact.

The chest protector can therefore reduce the immediate impact on the padded upper body area. However, the actual protective effect depends, among other things, on the fit, impact strength, impact position, training intensity, and condition of the product.

Reversible chest protector in two color combinations

The RDX T2 is reversible and can be worn – depending on the selected variant – with the red or blue side, or the white or black side facing outwards. This facilitates visual distinction between training partners or teams.

The color scheme does not automatically guarantee competition approval. Before a tournament, it must be checked whether the model, color, and design comply with the regulations of the respective organizer or association.

Adjustable straps for a close-fitting design

Elastic shoulder straps and the Quick-EZ™ hook-and-loop closure allow for individual adjustment. The body protector should fit snugly without unduly restricting breathing, circulation, or freedom of movement.

A correctly fitting chest protector should not shift significantly during normal training movements. At the same time, straps and closure should not cause pressure pain, numbness, or chafing.

Durable Maya Hide™ Synthetic Leather

The exterior is made of Maya Hide™ synthetic leather. This is a synthetic material, not genuine leather. It was developed for a durable and easy-care outer construction.

Reinforced triple stitching supports the stability of the connected material areas. As with any regularly used martial arts equipment, seams, outer material, padding, and closures must still be checked before each use.

Choosing the right size

Choose the size based on the current RDX size chart and your body measurements. The chest protector must cover the intended upper body area and should not shift significantly when moving, turning, or performing controlled techniques.

If you are between two sizes or are unsure about the required coverage, the selection should be discussed with a qualified trainer or martial arts school before purchasing.

Care instructions

• Wipe the outside with a soft, slightly damp cloth after training.
• Remove sweat and dirt promptly.
• Allow the chest protector to dry completely in a well-ventilated place, fully open.
• Do not store damp in a closed sports bag.
• Do not immerse in water and do not clean in a washing machine.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, bleach, or solvents.
• Do not dry on heaters or in strong direct sunlight.
• Observe the manufacturer's care and use instructions.

Important Safety and Usage Information

A chest protector can reduce stress, but cannot completely prevent injuries. It does not replace controlled training intensity, correct technique, qualified instruction, or other protective equipment required for the respective sport.

Before each use, the outer material, padding, seams, shoulder straps, and hook-and-loop closure must be checked. A damaged, torn, heavily deformed, or no longer securely closing chest protector must not be used further.
